High / Medium Velocity Water Spray System employing Pipes with water flow for a specific discharge and distribution over the protected area through the open Nozzles, supporting automatic actuated deluge valve which contains of Air or Nitrogen pressure and initiates the flow of water from all nozzle attached there to. Nozzles used for High Velocity water spray system are called “Projectors” and Nozzles used for medium velocity water spray system are called “Sprayers”.
Medium Velocity Water Spray System - The Nozzles does have an external deflector, which discharges water in an opposite direction n cone shaped small droplet size. The water is uniformly distributed over the surface, which is to be protected.
The nozzle is used in Deluge Water Spray system of special hazard for fire protection application. These nozzles are generally used to protect spherical vessels and storage tanks.
High Velocity Water Spray System – The nozzles are internal swirl plate type open nozzles designed for use in fixed water spray or deluge system for the fire protection application.
These nozzles produce solid uniform and dense core of high velocity water spray to affect fire control. Nozzles are normally used to cool the surface as well as for extinguishment. Nozzles are typically used for Deluge protection of special hazards such as oil filled transformers; switch gear, chemical process equipments, conveyor system and flammable liquid storage areas.
Water Curtain System - The Nozzle distributes water in a flat curtain extending all the way to the ground.
Water Curtain Nozzle when mounted in pendent position acts as a window spray nozzle to protect interior walls,windows and other opening of the building which are affected by fire.
The nozzles when mounted in horizontal position with flow towards ground, a flat water curtain are produced to segregate the area which is underfire.
